Repeat Prescription

It is not usually possible to obtain a prescription without seeing the doctor unless you have been given a computerised repeat prescription sheet.

There are several ways to pre-order your repeat medication: *PLEASE ORDER MEDICATIONS INDIVIDUALLY BY NAME*

  • Via the NHS App on your mobile phone or device – please click here for information on how to register for this service.
  • Via our new e-mail address dedicated to prescription ordering: [email protected] please note this email address is for repeat prescription ordering only. Any other requests made to this email address will not be dealt with.
  • Post the tear-off slip in either of our post boxes located at the front of the building next to the pharmacy or at the rear of the building on the gates. Always state clearly which medications are required.

If you have a medication query please submit a request here

Non-urgent advice: Please Note

We do not ordinarily accept telephone requests on the main surgery phone line to re-order items.

Prescriptions will be sent to your nominated pharmacy 72 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) after they have been requested. This is the case even if they are being sent electronically.

Please allow adequate time for your pharmacy to process your prescription.

Please take note of our half-day closures for training – see News for dates.

Prescription charges from 1st May 2024 – £9.90 per item

Electronic Prescription Service

All prescriptions are now sent electronically to your chosen pharmacy. Please inform reception which chemist you would like us to send your prescription to. Nominating a pharmacy means we can send your prescription directly to the chemist saving you a journey to the practice.

Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money.
